Computer Lab

Our Computer Literacy program offers classes in basic computer
skills, internet and email for low literate adults, and individualized
instruction in reading, writing, math, resume writing, internet job
search and other job readiness activities. In addition, we offer
guided software-based literacy instruction to students who are waiting
for an opening in either our ESOL or Basic Literacy program. Finally,
activities in the Computer Lab are integrated into our regular ESOL
and Basic Literacy curriculum.

Our Hartford Computer Lab offers 12 stations and our Wickham Lab has
eight. The Labs are available to students currently enrolled in our
ESOL or Basic Literacy program,on our waiting list, or participating
in one of our guided or individualized programs.

The Lab is staffed by a team of well-trained volunteer Computer Aides,
supervised by a professional technically skilled educator.
