Lab Tutors
Computer Lab Tutors assist our adult students learn
basic computer and English literacy skills
in our Computer Lab.
The Basic Literacy and
ESOL tutor training class is not required
for Computer Lab Tutors. However, prospective
volunteers should have basic computer knowledge
and skills.
New Computer Lab Tutors must also complete a one-hour workshop that
familiarizes new volunteers with our organization
and the operation of the Computer Lab.
Volunteer
Responsibilities
Computer Lab Tutors are asked to commit to
being in the Computer Lab 1- 2 hours or more
per week for one semester. Both the Hartford
and Wickham Literacy Centers are equipped
with computer labs.
